Man Charged In Putnam Sex Assault Of Minor: PD

The Vermont resident turned himself in after learning of a warrant for his arrest, according to police.

PUTNAM, CT — A Vermont man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor, according to police.

Bryan K. McCray-McLeod, 37, of 178 Elmwood Ave., Burlington, Vermont, was charged on a warrant Monday with first-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.

Police said he turned himself in at the police department after being advised of a warrant for his arrest.

The arrest follows an investigation which began in March of 2025, according to police.

McCray-McLeod is free after posting a $175,000 court set bond. He first appeared in Superior Court in Danielson on Tuesday, and his case was continued to March 24.
