Man Shot In Arm During Attempted Robbery In New Britain: Police
Two assailants approached the victim early Wednesday, according to police.
NEW BRITAIN, CT — A man was shot in the left arm early Wednesday morning during an attempted robbery, city officials said.
The incident happened in the area of Alexander Road around 5:15 a.m.
Two males approached the victim in an attempt to rob him as he was leaving for work, according to police.

The victim was shot during an ensuing struggle. Police described the victim’s injury as non-life-threatening. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The suspects fled on foot then entered a grayish colored sedan.

The New Britain Police Department's Detective Division is investigating.
