Mashantucket Nation Slashes Gas Prices At Foxwoods Filling Station
The price of gas at the Pequot Outpost gas station is being set at a discount "for the foreseeable future."

MASHANTUCKET, CT — Citing "the unpredictability of the global economic and fuel prices reaching record levels nationwide," the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation is "significantly lowering" the price of gas at its Pequot Outpost gas station "for the foreseeable future."
All that translates to 20 cents off per gallon.
“Given the raging inflation that is impacting us all, we made a conscious decision to minimize profit margins on the sale of gas at the Pequot Outpost in an effort to make life a little easier for those around us," said Rodney Butler, chairman of the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. "We understand this is a small way to provide financial relief for not only patrons, team members, and our tribal community, but also for the greater community at large. It was just the right thing to do."
