Coronavirus Deaths Exceed 3,400 In Connecticut
Here are the latest town-by-town number of positive cases, deaths and number of people tested for the coronavirus in Connecticut.
CONNECTICUT — Coronavirus cases increased by 716 to 37,419 over the past 24 hours and the number of deaths spiked by 69 to 3,408, according to the state Department of Public Health.
New hospital admissions decreased again by 57 to 937. Another 5,872 people were tested over the past 24 hours and the total number of people tested is 170,607.
Over the past 24 hours, hospitalizations declined by 31 in Fairfield County, 16 in New Haven County, nine in Hartford County, and two in New London and Windham counties. There was no change in Tolland and Litchfield County and the only county with an increase was Middlesex with three new hospital admissions.
