Omicron Upsilon Omega Holds Food Drive in Wilton, Connecticut

Norwalk-Stamford, CT- On Saturday, September 9, 2017 the Norwalk-Stamford Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated continued its commitment to Family Strengthening and Childhood Hunger Awareness by collecting 10 shopping carts of food for Person- to- Person, a non-profit charitable agency that assists those in need while educating others about the impact of poverty and injustice. Program Committee Chair, Margaret Farinella organized the event with the help of Melanie Turner, Ida Handy, Catherine Vaughn, Tanya Clemons, Shana Shumate, Stephane Kirven, Monica Lloyd, Trish Askew and Melvina Callion.
