Over 250 Crashes Reported Memorial Day Weekend In CT

State police dealt with thousands of calls for service and dealt with everything from DUIs to serious accidents.

CONNECTICUT — Drivers kept state police busy over Memorial Day weekend in Connecticut.

State police released the following traffic statistics for May 23 to 26:

  • Total motor vehicle crashes: 271
  • Motor vehicle crashes with injuries: 26
  • Motor vehicle crashes with serious injuries: 2
  • Fatal motor vehicle crashes: 2 (Waterbury and Tolland)
  • Total calls for service: 5,070
  • Total traffic stops: 1,347
  • Traffic services: 382
