Pilot Injured After Plane Crashes In Connecticut Campground

TERRYVILLE, CT — A pilot is injured after a plane crashed into a Connecticut campground Monday morning, according to the Plymouth Police Department.
The plane, a single-engine Cessna 172, crashed just before 11 a.m. into a wooded area at Gentiles Campground in Terryville, which is in Litchfield County, the Federal Aviation Administration told Patch.
The pilot, who was the only person on board, was taken to the hospital. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
