The Revelers to Perform at CHIRP in Ridgefield
They are billed as a "Southwest Louisiana supergroup."
RIDGEFIELD, CT -- Concert Happenings in Ridgefield Parks (CHIRP) is welcoming The Revelers to Ballard Park on Tuesday, July 17 at 7 p.m.
Billed as a "Southwest Louisiana supergroup," the sextet performs a mix of swamp-pop, Cajun, country, blues, and zydeco. Among the group are founding members of the Red Stick Ramblers and The Pine Leaf Boys.
In the event of rain, the concert will be held at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
CHIRP is a series of free Tuesday and Thursday night summer concerts in Ballard Park located in the heart of Ridgefield. It also sponsors the U.S. Military Band concerts held several times a year at the H.S. auditorium. CHIRP is totally funded by individual and foundation donations as well as contributions from local businesses.
