NORWALK, Conn. -- A group of local elected officials will join AT&T Connecticut on Monday to celebrate the installation of a new cell tower.

Recently installed on New Canaan Avenue, the new cell site will enhance AT&T’s wireless network along the Merritt Parkway and across Norwalk. Residents, businesses, commuters and first responders alike will enjoy increased coverage and faster speeds.

On Monday, AT&T Connecticut President John Emra will join Norwalk Mayor Riling, New Canaan First Selectman Robert Mallozzi, and state Reps. Fred Wilms and Tom O’Dea to visit the new tower and discuss the economic and public safety benefits of fast, reliable wireless networks.
