Thieves Steal Empty Cash Register From CT Grocery Store
Reporters at the scene said that the shop's door was smashed, but the thieves didn't walk away with much.

NEW BRITAIN, CT — A group of thieves descended upon a Connecticut gas station early Tuesday morning, but left only with an empty cash register and some cigarettes, police said.
The burglary occurred around 4 a.m. at the Stop & Shop gas station on West Main Street in New Britain, according to police.
The group backed through the door to the gas station with a vehicle before the theft, police said.
