The chance of showers increases as the day progresses, with showers and thunderstorms becoming more likely starting Wednesday evening and night, according to the National Weather Service.

WTNH predicts Wednesday will bring “higher heat and humidity,” along with scattered late day showers or thundershowers.

Thursday is expected to be partly sunny and hot, with highs reaching into the low to mid-90s, and showers and thunderstorms possible after 2 p.m. and into Thursday evening, the National Weather Service said.

The National Weather Service predicts Friday also will be partly sunny and hot, with highs reaching up to the mid-90s, and a chance of showers Friday night.

“While not a washout you’ll want to have the umbrella handy as we’re expecting the chance for showers with perhaps isolated storms in the mix,” WFSB reports. “As we see it now, activity will be isolated in nature Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. As temperatures inland peak near or above 90 Thursday and Friday, it will feel hotter given the uptick in humidity.”

“Most of the weekend is looking okay!” WTNH reports.
