Nearly 15,000 Connecticut residents are waking up without power Monday morning as a blizzard has dropped a foot of snow on the state and wind gusts up to 60 mph have been reported.

Eversource is reporting nearly 11,000 outages and United Illuminating Co. is reporting 3,000 outages.
