Updated Town-By-Town Coronavirus Cases, Deaths Reported In CT
Over the past 24 hours another 89 people have died as a result of the new coronavirus, state officials said.
CONNECTICUT — The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Connecticut has reached 27,700, there are 2,257 deaths and 1,650 hospitalizations. Over the past 24 hours, Connecticut saw another 933 positive cases, 89 new deaths and 41 less new hospital admissions.
A total of 97,133 Connecticut residents have been tested thus far.

- Fairfield County 11,294 confirmed cases; 810 deaths; 565 hospitalizations
- Hartford County 5,601 confirmed cases; 698 deaths; 416 hospitalizations
- Litchfield County 963 confirmed cases; 80 deaths; 21 hospitalizations
- Middlesex County 657 confirmed cases; 79 deaths; 42 hospitalizations
- New Haven County 7,536 confirmed cases; 512 deaths; 557 hospitalizations
- New London County 564 confirmed cases; 36 deaths; 41 hospitalizations
- Tolland County 437 confirmed cases; 36 deaths; 4 hospitalizations
- Windham County 186 confirmed cases; 2 deaths; 4 hospitalizations

Over the past 24 hours hospitalizations declined by 26 in Fairfield County and 34 in New Haven County, but there was an increase of 13 in Hartford County and an increase of five in Middlesex County and an increase of two in New London County.

To date, 7,758 patients have been hospitalized for COVID-19 in Connecticut and 1,650 patients are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. In total, 4,346 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 have been discharged.
Of the 2,257 total deaths, 1,301 involve people over the age of 80; 507 between the ages of 70 and 79; 290 between the ages of 60 and 69; 101 between the ages of 50 and 59; 31 between the ages of 40 and 49; 18 between the ages of 30 and 39; 3 between the ages of 20 and 29; 1 between the ages of 10 and 19; and one case between zero and nine.
Of the 2,257 deaths, 1,134 are men and 1,100 are women.
