CT Weather: Snowstorm Will Miss Us This Weekend
You have likely heard a lot of talk about a possible snowstorm this weekend. Here are the latest updates on the snow chance.

You may have heard talk of a possible snowstorm on Sunday and as we head into the weekend it appears very unlikely Connecticut will see any snow accumulation. The trend of a non-snowy winter looks to continue for now.
It appears the storm will remain just to our south as parts of New Jersey may see a few inches of snow, but here in Connecticut we may see a brief period of light snow, especially at the Connecticut coast, but no real accumulation is expected.
For those of us who don't like snow, you can breathe another sigh of relief as we've dodged another potential snowstorm, but the temps will be below freezing all weekend and the wind chill factor at times will be in the single digits.

The National Weather Service says "dry conditions will persist through the day Saturday as high pressure slowly builds in from the northwest. It will remain windy tonight, with winds gradually diminishing through Friday. Temperatures will be on the cold side for this time of year, ranging from the teens in the normally colder spots, to the lower 20s... However, factoring in the wind, it will feel more like 0 to 10 above."
"The cold conditions will continue for Friday and into the weekend, with highs only in the upper 20s to lower 30s. There is a chance for some light snow late Saturday night, possibly lingering
into early Sunday morning as an area of low pressure passes well south of the area."

And for those who are hoping for snow once again, The Weather Channel says Sunday, Jan. 20 is our next best chance. We'll see.
It's been brutal for snow lovers. For meteorological winter BDL has managed 0.3" so far. The only worse winters through 1/9 were dreadful as a whole. 11-12: 9.3", 06-07: 17.1", 27-28: 20.8" #nbcct pic.twitter.com/XEQPE0GBYG

Sunday's storm: Same general idea as yesterday but now feeling more confident. Either some light snow for us in CT Sunday or none at all. A big one is not coming together for us this time. Sorry snow lovers!!
