Veteran CT TV News Reporter Leaves Station After 9 Years

Jamie Ratliff is moving on from television journalism to a media relations position.

CONNECTICUT — Jamie Ratliff, a reporter at NBC Connecticut for the past nine years, announced she is leaving the station and television journalism to take a communications job with Eversource, The Laurel reported.

Ratliff wraps up her stint with NBC Connecticut this week, and will then become a senior media relations specialist with the utility company.

"I’m just going to yell 'Ratliff Out!' whenever I leave a room now," she joked on Twitter.

Before joining NBC Connecticut, Ratliff was with Fox23 in Albany, New York, and she began her TV journalism career at KSBI in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, according to her bio.

Ratliff graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, with degrees in broadcast journalism and psychology.
