Veteran TV News Reporters Return To CT Airwaves
Longtime traffic reporter Rachel Lutzker, and former News 12 CT anchor Kathryn Hauser, are joining WTNH-TV.
CONNECTICUT — Two veteran television news reporters are returning to the Connecticut airwaves on WTNH-TV.
Longtime traffic reporter Rachel Lutzker, who left Fox61 last year, and Kathryn Hauser, who anchored at News 12 Connecticut from 2009 to 2014, have both joined New Haven-based News 8, reported The Laurel.
Lutzker, a native New Yorker and mother of three, shifted away from TV to concentrate on radio at The River 105.9 FM and iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the state.

Before joining News 8, Hauser was at WBZ-TV in Boston, where she was a morning anchor. She reportedly left the station in 2016 when her contract was up and her husband landed a job in Connecticut. Before WBZ and News 12, Hauser logged time at FOX23 News in Albany and WLNY-TV 55, both in New York.
