Woman Killed In Head-On Crash, ID Released: State Police
A head-on crash resulted in the death of a Connecticut woman, state police said.
BURLINGTON, CT — Mary Christine Ferland, 64, of Burlington, was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Route 4 on Friday afternoon, state police said.
A Peterbilt 386 truck was traveling westbound on RT 4 near Punch Brook Road, and a Toyota Rav 4 driven by Ferland was traveling eastbound at 4:49 p.m., state police said.
The RAV4 struck the truck, resulting in a head-on collision, state police said. Ferland sustained serious physical injuries and was pronounced dead by Burlington EMS.
