• Driver charged in multi-vehicle crash in Ansonia (newportdispatch.com) — Ansonia police say a Stratford woman has been charged after an alleged hit-and-run on Bridge Street and West Main Street led to a fiery four-vehicle crash on Pershing Drive in March. Investigators report she was driving at high speed with a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit, and another man faces a related insurance charge. Court dates are set for this month.
