Saint Joseph Church was founded in 1926. Its origins date back to 1923, when members of the local Polish community first gathered to advocate for the construction of a Catholic school in their hometown. Through their determination, hard work, and the support of local clergy, Saint Joseph Church and school were established. Throughout its history, the parish has served the community in times of need, including assisting displaced families arriving from Poland in 1952 and supporting flood victims following Hurricane Diane in 1955. The parish school educated generations of students before closing in 2001. Today, the commitment of its parishioners remains strong, with four generations of some families having attended the church. Saint Joseph Church continues to serve through charitable initiatives and its longstanding tradition, the annual Warsaw Park Picnic.
Parishioners and members of the community are invited to attend and celebrate this historic milestone together.
