Avon marketing communications agency Mintz & Hoke has named Ron Perine as chief operating officer. He will continue with his current responsibilities in finance and technology, integrating financial discipline and IT expertise into Mintz & Hoke’s client operations and services, adding leadership of account service to his roster of duties. He will continue to sit on the Board of Directors as Treasurer.
In making the announcement, CEO Chris Knopf noted, “Since day one, Ron has made significant contributions to Mintz & Hoke in all his many roles. Not only did he optimize finance and IT, he has taken costs out all along the way. He’s essential to the executive management team for his ability to see across the entire organization, keeping us forward-looking and stable.”
Ron Perine started at Mintz & Hoke in 1994 in the agency’s IT department, and within a few years headed up both the IT and finance operations. Previously, he was the Accounting Manager at ad agency Keiler & Company.

Perine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Quinnipiac University School of Business.
He is a member of the Finance Committee for the American Association of Advertising Agencies and is actively involved in Worldwide Partners, the global network of agencies in which Mintz & Hoke is a shareholder. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors of the Channel 3 Kids Camp.
