Avon Church Clothing Sale Promises Chic And Value For A Cause

The Church of St. Ann in Avon is hosting a two-day, gently-used clothing sale Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29-30.

AVON, CT — A local church is hosting its popular "gently used clothing sale" to raise money for church endeavors, providing locals with an opportunity for some vintage, chic items at a nice price.

The Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon, is hosting the event on Friday, Sept. 29, and Saturday, Sept. 30, at the church hall and/or parking lot. Cash and credit cards accepted.

It will take place outdoors weather permitting.

"Join the trend to upcycle quality clothing at low prices," wrote the church.

Friday's sale — which is a special, two-hour event from 5 to 7 p.m. — comes with a $5 admission fee as guests get the first look at what's available.

Saturday's sale — which is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. — does not come with an admission fee.

Items for sale include children's clothes, teens' clothing and apparel for men and women, along with jewelry and other accessories.
