Avon Coronavirus Update: 2 Deaths Reported
The town has reported that two people have died due to coronavirus.
AVON, CT — Two Avon residents have recently died due to coronavirus, according to a statement from the town.
"Avon is saddened by the recent passing of two residents, a female in her 40s and a male in his 80s to COVID-19. Our thoughts and prayers are with their friends and families at this very difficult time."
Avon currently has 26 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

The total number of confirmed positive coronavirus cases in Connecticut is now at 15,884, and 971 deaths have been reported, along with 1,929 hospitalizations.
