Avon Election 2015 Results: Voting Begins

Candidates for Avon offices were up and about before sunrise Tuesday, as balloting began at 6 a.m. for the biennial municipal elections.

Morning indications were that voter turnout was “steady” through the early hours.

Residents of District 1 vote in the Avon High School gymnasium, District 2 at Fire House Co. #1, and District 3 in the Roaring Brook School gymnasium.

Polls will remain open until 8 p.m.
