Avon High School Runners Succeed at State Cross Country Championships
The girls team qualified for the State Open, as did an individual boy.
MANCHESTER, CT — Avon High School will be well-represented at the upcoming State Open after excellent performances in Class MM at the CIAC class meets Saturday at Wickham Park.
The girls team had three runners finish in the top 20, compiling 99 points to place second to RHAM's 68. A Falcon boy placed in the top 10 to qualify as an individual; the team finished fourth.
