Avon Library's Courtyard Facelift To Be Celebrated
The Avon Free Public Library Thursday, Oct. 5, is hosting a rededication ceremony for the recently renovated outdoor courtyard.
AVON, CT — One of the more relaxing places to relax with a good book outdoors has recently gotten a major facelift and a special event Thursday will celebrate the culmination of that.
The Avon Free Public Library is hosting a grand reopening ceremony of the library's courtyard at the 281 Country Club Road site.
The informal event will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5.

There, community members will be able to listen to some brief remarks from local dignitaries and library officials, enjoy light refreshments and socialize with fellow library supporters.
