Ellen L. Brunette, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington.
Ellen was born on November 20, 1956 and although she resided in Avon at her time of passing “home” was always in Windsor Locks. She was the daughter of Susan (Smith) Brunette and the late Richard J. Brunette, Sr. Ellen was sister to Michael Brunette, David Brunette and his wife Joanne, Laurence, Richard Jr. and sister Mary Brunette. Her presence will be greatly missed by her siblings and her many nieces and nephews: Jonathan, Mark, Paul, Elizabeth, Hilary, Justin, Peter, Catherine, and great niece Marley. She was predeceased by her brother Stephen.
Ellen had a special love of frogs mostly because of the smile their funny faces brought to her. If there was a frog around, she had to have it. Her home with Key Services reflected that, as well as a life filled with an immense amount of joy thanks to her loving group home family: Joan, Al, Mavis, Tonya, and Jimmy.
