Avon Obituary: Francois Levesque, 61

Condolences to his family and friends.

Francois Norman Levesque, 61, of Barkhamsted, died Friday, June 24, 2016 at Avon Health Care Center.

He was born December 5, 1954 in Edmunston, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Edgar Norman and Laurena (Cyr) Levesque and grew in Notre Dame de Lourdes prior to moving to Connecticut in 1975. He owned and operated Frank Levesque Framing for many years and cherished working with his sons. Frank enjoyed hunting, riding ATVs, spending time with friends and family, and had a particular love of rooster eggs.

He was predeceased by his two brothers Jean-Roch Levesque and Eric Levesque. Frank is survived by his two sons, Matthew Levesque and his wife, Stephanie, of Winsted and Jason Levesque and his wife, Kimberly, of Simsbury; his siblings, Ghislaine Plourde and her husband Francois, Linda Daigle and her husband Michel, Gemma Levesque and her husband Charles Thompson; his three grandsons, Beckett, Greyson and Jake and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Wednesday, June 29th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
