Avon Obituary: Jeanette Lengyel, 93

Jeanette M. (Vadnais) (Cutler) Lengyel, 93, of Avon and formerly of Simsbury, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015.

Born in Waterbury, daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Boucher) Vadnais, she was raised in Watertown. She had been employed by the Bristol Aerospace Manufacturing Co. for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed crochet and especially needlepoint which earned blue ribbons.

She leaves a son Richard Cutler (Gayle) of Moore, SC; three daughters Barbara Byron (Donald) of Avon, Janice Carroll (Randy) of Granby, and Carol Vadnais (Greg) of Fernandina Beach, FL; two brothers Roland of FL and Robert of CO; a sister Dolly Hite of GA; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Besides her parents and 9 siblings she was predeceased by a daughter Gail Cutler and one granddaughter.

Her family will receive friends Friday, Nov 20, 2015 from 6-8 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 3 PM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church “The Barn”, 124 Old Farms Road, Simsbury. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury.
