
Joseph E. Coole, 66, of Avon, passed away, Monday, August 15, 2016 at home, after an illness.
Born and raised in Chester, son of the late John and Josephine (Fillipi) Coole, he graduated from Valley Regional High School. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War era. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Hamilton Standard Division of UTC in Configuration Management.
Joe was an avid fisherman and enjoyed many good memories of fishing adventures as well as tubing on the river and snow skiing with his family and good friends. His passion was always his Corvette and he was actively involved for many years as a member of Corvettes Limited of Connecticut, autocrossing, rallying and enjoying the many lifelong friends he found there.

He leaves a son Alex of Huntington Beach, CA; a daughter Kendra of Fresno, CA; a sister Jacqueline LaMark of Chester; two nephews, Mat and Jason; and his former wife Lynda Coole of Avon.
His family will receive friends Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 5-8 pm at the Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center, 301 Country Club Road, Avon.
