Avon Obituary: Peter Cogswell, 27

Peter B. Cogswell, 27, of Windsor, beloved husband of Jacqueline (Possardt) Cogswell passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 23, 2016.

Born May 11, 1988 in Hartford, son of Garrett and LeaAnn (Pitts) Cogswell of Windsor, he lived in Windsor all his life. Peter obtained his certification for personal training and became a personal trainer for a number of gyms, most recently the New York Sports Club of West Hartford and currently Healthtrax, Avon. He also ran his own company called Fitness Delivered.

He loved music. He and his wife sang and taught Virtue Classes in the Windsor schools and at their home. He sang, wrote music and played guitar and drums.

He was a devoted father to his two daughters, Ana Lucia Isabella Cogswell and Aaliyah Nadira Cogswell. He was also survived by two grandparents and many other family members.

His family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016, 10 AM, at Connecticut Valley Church of Christ, 61 Cook Hill Rd., Windsor. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor.
