Avon Resident Elected Robinson+Cole Partner

Robinson+Cole is pleased to announce the election of Keisha S. Palmer to partner, effective January 1, 2018.

Robinson+Cole is pleased to announce the election of seven new partners, effective January 1, 2018, including Avon resident Keisha S. Palmer. The other lawyers elected partner are Kendra L. Berardi, Stephen O. Clancy, Dana M. Horton, Rachel V. Kushel, Timothy C. Twardowski, and George W. Watson III.

Keisha S. Palmer – Ms. Palmer is a member of Robinson+Cole's Public Finance Group. She represents state, municipal, and Indian tribal governments in the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable general obligation bonds and other debt obligations. In addition, she serves as bond counsel to issuers of 501(c)(3) bonds, qualified private activity bonds, revenue bonds, tax credit bonds, lease financings, and conduit borrowings. Ms. Palmer's work as bond counsel includes, among other things, drafting bond authorizations, negotiating indentures, advising clients on refunding transactions, arbitrage rebate liability, changes in use of bond-financed facilities, restructuring tax-exempt obligations due to financial distress, and guiding clients through Internal Revenue Service examinations of bond issues. She works primarily in the firm’s Hartford office.
