Avon Students, Staff Recognized at BOE Meeting

Editor’s Note: We ran this previously, but wanted to bring it back in case you missed it.

Several students and staff were recognized for achievements at the Avon BOE meeting.

Students Tanvi Arora, Isabela Hernandez and Shikha Vyas conducted a fundraiser that raised $2,600 for Make A Wish Foundation, according to the Hartford Courant.

Payton Budwitz and Avery Santoro organized a collection drive for toys to be donated to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.

Long-term subsitte Meredith Jobe and teachers Betsy Cartona nad Laura DiLullo also recieved awards.
