Avon Town Council to Hear Field Turf Plans

On June 4, the Town Council will hear the proposed $3.2 million field turf and track plan, reports the Hartford Courant.

The Recreation and Parks Committee was presented with two plans and has picked one to bring before the council.

The proposed field would go where the existing Avon High School football field and track are. The plan would also add lights, an eight-lane track, and bleacher seating for 1,000 people.
