Avon's Primary Polls To Get State Review
August primary poll audit will take place at Avon Town Hall Tuesday, Sept. 6, as part of regular process to review polls.

AVON, CT — As part of the Connecticut Secretary of the State's Office's ballot auditing process, ballots at one Avon police place will be subject to a review on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
According to the Avon Registrar of Voters office, the audit of the August primary voting machines will take place at 10 a.m. in the Avon Room, which is on the lower level of Building No. 1 at Avon Town Hall, 60 W. Main St.
The polling place audit will be for District #2 in Avon, which had voting at Thompson Brook School, registrars said.

The public audit is open to anyone.
State regulations mandate that 5 percent of polling places in the state receive a polling place review with the goal being analysis of how optimal scan voting machines performed.
