Bear Spotted in Avon
Some local reporters set out to do a story on bears and guess what they found? A bear!

When the Fox CT reporters set out to do a story on bears, they may not have figured they would actually see a bear while they were out.
But that’s exactly what they saw. Here’s a tweet from Jeevan Vittal about the sighting:

The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection says that if you see a bear, enjoy it from a distance, advertise your presence by shouting and waving - or walk away slowly, don’t try to feed it or attract it, and call the DEEP wildlife division.
