Bears Go After Birdfeeder In Avon
A pair of bears were recently spotted on a local resident's front lawn.

AVON, CT - Two bears were recently spotted at an Avon residence, according to FOX 61. The bears were going after a birdfeeder on the front lawn.
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) notes that you should remove birdfeeders at the first sign of bear activity.
Several bear sightings were also reported in Avon last month.
