Lucie Whitehouse is known for mystery, romance, and thrillers. The best-selling author of "Before We Met" has a new twisting psychological thriller about old friends and the dangerous secrets that rest at the heart of a family. "Keep You Close" is slated for release in May.
The book focuses on Rowan, who learns that her estranged friend and renowned artist, Marianne Glass, has died in what appears to be a tragic accident. Knowing Marianne suffered from vertigo, Rowan suspects there is more to the story than police believe.
Marianne—and the whole Glass family—once meant everything to Rowan. For a teenage girl, motherless with a much-absent father, this lively, intellectual household represented a world of glamour and opportunity. Rowan won’t rest until she discovers the truth about Marianne’s fall and to do so, once more immerses herself in Marianne’s life. But, the deeper Rowan goes, the more sinister everything seems and a secret in the past makes Rowan worry about her own fate.
Lucie Whitehouse grew up in Warwickshire, England, studied classics at the University of Oxford, and now lives in Brooklyn, New York, with her husband and daughter.
The library is located at 281 Country Club Road, Avon.
