The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS) will present Beyond Hoses & Helmets, an educational training course that delivers real world expertise through an interactive educational experience designed by practicing chief officers. The Simsbury Volunteer Fire Company (SVFC) will host the free two-day course on Saturday, March 5, 2016 (9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) and Sunday, March 6, 2015 (9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.) at the SVFC Firefighters Club, 26 Town Forest Road, Simsbury, CT.

Created for up-and-coming officers, company officers, and chief officers, the class is beneficial to all ranks and is open to all fire departments in Connecticut.
