Catherine Leone Lee, 77, of Avon, widow of Asahel (Ace) Lee passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015.
She was born in Farmington, Connecticut the daughter of the late Tomasso and Natalina Tribuzio Leone. Catherine was a graduate of Farmington High School, Class of 1955.

Prior to retiring from Petro (formerly Colonial Fuel) she was employed at Farmington Savings Bank and Collinsville Savings Society. Catherine was a communicant at the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Unionville and a member of the Avon Women’s Bowling League.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, bingo, the casino, watching the birds, swimming and taking long walks along the beach at the family beach house in Westerly, Rhode Island.

Catherine’s greatest joy and love was for her children Scott Lee of Rock Hill, South Carolina and Kristen Lee-Bernier and husband Michael Bernier of Boston, Massachusetts. She is survived by her brother Albert and his wife Jane Leone of Avon, her sisters Jean Bouchard of Canton, Anita Metivier of Windham, Maine, Mary Fasolo of Farmington and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Rosina Frascatore of Southington, her brother Arthur Leone of Avon, and brothers Orlando and Thomas Leone of Farmington.
Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Monday (Feb. 23) from 4:30-6:30pm. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be Tuesday (Feb. 24) at 9:15am followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 10:00am. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Avon.
