Classical Piano with Wenting Shi at Avon Library - February 10

The Friends of the Avon Library are pleased to announce the next concert of their popular music series, “Sundays at Three” on Sunday, February 10 with a performance by pianist Wenting Shi. This year’s first prize winner of the “Young Artists in CT Piano Competition,” Ms. Shi started studying at the age of four in Shanghai. She has a Master’s degree from Juilliard and is currently studying at the Yale School of Music. Her artistry and command of the keyboard will “dazzle” everyone.

All are welcome to this special event in the Community Room of the Avon Free Public Library, 281Country Club Road, Avon. Free tickets will be available at 2:15 P.M. on the day of the performance with seating starting at 2:30 P.M. The one-hour program begins at 3:00 P.M. The Friends of the Library will be serving home-baked goods and there will be an opportunity to meet the artists following their performance.
