Draft Avon Bike/Pedestrian Plan Done, Input Sought
The Avon Town Council last week formally received a draft copy of a new plan aimed at improving bicycle/pedestrian offerings in town.

AVON, CT — A draft plan to improve the town's pedestrian and bicycle access is now in the Town of Avon's hands.
The Avon Town Council Feb. 1 received a presentation from the town’s consultant, SLR on the so-called "Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan."

A draft and other resources are now available on the town's website at the following link: http://www.avonct.gov/.../bicycle-pedestrian-master-plan...
Avon officials are encouraging residents to review the plan and submit any comments to Hiram Peck and Linda Sadlon in the Avon Department of Planning & Community Development.

That input should be given on or before Feb. 29 at 4:30 p.m.
Eventually, the proposal would need to be approved by the Avon Town Council.
