EMERGING ARTISTS OF THE FARMINGTON VALLEY DISPLAYING IN APRIL AT DUNCASTER ART GALLERY
The works of students from the Farmington Valley will be on display at the Duncaster Art Gallery throughout the month of April

“Emerging Student Artists of the Farmington Valley” will feature the works of children from kindergarten through high school at the Duncaster Art Gallery. More than 25 pieces from students in Avon, Simsbury and Farmington will be on display throughout the month of April.
The young artists, their parents and teachers will be honored at an opening reception for the exhibit on Sunday, April 3 at 4 p.m. The Duncaster Art Gallery is open to the public every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and this exhibit will be available until April 29. The Gallery is located on the Duncaster campus at 40 Loeffler Road in Bloomfield.
The show is the brainchild of Inez Failace, an “Enrichment Teacher” for the Avon public school system and an artist in her own right. “For the past three years I have had the joy of watching young students involved in the act of creating art. I continually look for that special ‘art spark’ from students …it never fails to ignite my own art,” she says.
