The Farmington Valley Arts Center (FVAC) in Avon, Connecticut, unveils a new exhibit of works by "Aspiring Young Artists." More than 50 Greater Hartford-area children have submitted their finest drawings, paintings, photographs, prints, sculptures and mixed media creations for this Fisher Gallery show, which runs through March 30. The show is a unique opportunity for these Kindergarten through Grade 12 students to have their work showcased and represented for sale by a professional gallery.
An Opening Reception celebrating these young artists is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, from 2 until 4 p.m., and prizes will be awarded to People's Choice honorees at the conclusion of the show.
