The Farmington Valley Arts Center hosts the opening of Interpretations and Inspirations in the Fisher Gallery. This juried show features innovative, imaginative works by painters, sculptors, textile artists, illustrators and collage artists from Connecticut and beyond. Juror Clinton Deckert, who selected the 36 featured pieces from a record number of submissions, will speak about the jury process at 6 p.m., and awards will be presented.
