Guest Musician at Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation - Emek Shalom
The Farmington Valley and Greater Hartford community is invited to FVJC-Emek Shalom for a special Concert and other event by Ellen Allard.

The Farmington Valley and Greater Hartford community is invited to FVJC-Emek Shalom for a special Concert and other event by Ellen Allard. Allard will be our Musician-in-Residence at FVJC from January 29-30. A multi-award winning Recording Artist, Composer, Performer, and Educator, Allard will be co-leading Shabbat services and presenting a concert. Both events are free to the community, with a suggested donation for non-members of $20 per family for the concert.
On Saturday, January 30, after a Wine & Cheese reception at 7:00, Havdalah and Allard’s Concert will begin at 7:30 pm.
The Shabbat service begins at 7:30 pm on Friday, January 29. The Musician-in-Residence Weekend is made possible by generous grants from the Rozovsky and Sobel Families.

Allard is one of the most popular and influential Jewish musicians and educators on today’s vibrant contemporary Jewish music scene. With over 30 years experience performing and teaching young children and grownups, as well as 14 recordings and 7 songbooks in her catalog, a growing library of over 250 songs that she has penned, Ellen continues to charm audiences with her interactive, infectious, and entertaining music.
