Help make sandwiches for the hungry on Feb. 3

Join us for Sandwich Sunday! All are welcome!

Come out to the Church of Saint Ann's parish hall (289 Arch Road, Avon) on Sunday, Feb. 3, between 9 and 1 pm and help make sandwiches for the hungry. Last year we made more than 500 sandwiches and we are hoping to top that number this year. All are welcome!

Sandwiches will go to the guests of Mercy Shelter, ImmaCare Shelter, and the Cathedral Food Pantry. This is a great service opportunity for all ages. If you would like to participate, please join us on Sunday and bring:

  • 1.5 lbs deli meat
  • 3/4 lbs sliced cheese
  • 1 large loaf of white or wheat bread (no lite, please)
  • folding sandwich baggies
