Honda Against Hunger Food Drive at Hoffman Honda

Do you remember the last time you felt hunger pangs? You were likely able to satisfy your need for food with a quick snack or perhaps a meal at home. Imagine if you could not meet this basic need for a day or longer. What if you did not know where your next meal would come from? This is the grim reality for 137,480 people in Hartford and Tolland counties … the majority of these people being children or seniors. Most of the adults are working full time jobs yet struggle to provide food for themselves or their families. This is where Foodshare and the local food pantries help to meet these needs. We at Hoffman Honda are part of Honda’s first Goodwill campaign: Honda Against Hunger Food Drive. This is your opportunity to join with us and help your fellow neighbor, especially during the holidays, to end hunger.

Hoffman Honda, in partnership with customers and the local community will fill a Honda Odyssey with nonperishable food items for the Honda Against Hunger Campaign. Bring your donations to Hoffman Honda, located at 40 Albany Turnpike on the Avon/Canton line on or before December 11th. All donations will go to Foodshare and the Connecticut Food Bank to aid in their mission to end hunger. We know with everyone’s participation we can fill an Odyssey, maybe two, and help support families in need.
