Hot Cat Jazz Band to Perform at Avon Library - March 3

Avon Library's Winter Music Series features Hot Cat Jazz Band

The Friends of the Avon Library are pleased to announce the next concert of their popular music series, “Sundays at Three” on Sunday, March 3 with a performance by the Hot Cat Jazz Band. Try to sit still for this exciting Swing and Dixieland Jazz group. Their traditional jazz standards coupled with original arrangements include the likes of Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole and Duke Ellington, among others. Ross Tucker, the leader of this group, is a classically trained trumpeter. People have been known to dance in the aisles or on the lawn for this event.

All are welcome to this special event in the Community Room of the Avon Free Public Library, 281Country Club Road, Avon. Free tickets will be available at 2:15 P.M. on the day of the performance with seating starting at 2:30 P.M. The one-hour program begins at 3:00 P.M. The Friends of the Library will be serving home-baked goods and there will be an opportunity to meet the artists following their performance.
