The MIND diet combines aspects of two very popular diets, the Mediterranean diet and the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet.
Participants will be able to join Shana Griffin, a registered dietitian nutritionist, for a class on how to prevent brain aging with evidence-based nutrition science recommendations.
Griffin will provide participants with an eating guide and answer nutrition-related questions.
This program is part of the Memory Care Series #3, co-sponsored by Bloomfield Public Library, Avon Free Public Library, Canton Public Library and Avon Senior Center.
