Light up your Holidays with a Visit to The Farmington Valley Arts Center's Candlelight Event

The Farmington Valley Arts Center and its studio artists invite you to join them for a twinkling start to the holiday season with a festive event called “Candlelight” on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm. Experience a joyful celebration of the arts in the historic brownstone buildings located at 25 and 27 Arts Center Lane in Avon, CT. Enjoy a unique selection of contemporary fine art and crafts, accompanied by complimentary refreshments, as you stroll and shop in a bucolic setting just off Route 44.

At 2 pm on November 21 in the Drezner Visitors’ Gallery, internationally known artist and author Joe Fig will be speaking about his book Inside the Artist’s Studio, an exploration of the lives, processes and workspaces of 24 leading contemporary artists. His books will be available for purchase and a book signing will follow the lecture.
